An experience that comes from close collaboration with Kromya Art Gallery<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Green Guide<\/em>, Tecla Riva<\/strong>, is a young and charming gallery owner.<\/p>\n

She firmly believes that Art is a tool through which we can break down all barriers of gender bringing us into a world where visual communication knows no limits and distances.<\/p>\n

WHAT WE ARE GONNA DO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s start with a quick introduction from a unique place, inside a historic building close to Villa Saroli<\/em><\/strong>, where you can breathe the history and magic that emanates from the historic walls, the high ceilings with rose windows and the traditional wooden floor.<\/p>\n

After a short walk we will reach Palazzo Reali<\/strong><\/em>, which after more than three years of closure due to renovation works, reopens to the public the historical building in Via Canova 10, a Lugano<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

We will visit an exhibition dedicated to the German photographer Harry Shunk<\/a> <\/strong>and the Hungarian photographer J\u00e1nos Kender<\/a><\/strong> arrived in Ticino after being presented at Centre Pompidou<\/strong><\/em> in Parigi.<\/p>\n

Shunk-Kender’s images are an important example of the art scene of the second half of the 20th century. In tune with the art of the time, Shunk and Kender left the photographic studio to be present in the places where the works were created.<\/p>\n

Photography, instead of the “humble servant of the arts”, according to Baudelaire’s definition <\/strong><\/a> became an indispensable companion for artists in an era marked by deliberately ephemeral creations, extemporary actions, performances and happenings.<\/p>\n
