{"id":9748,"date":"2020-05-13T19:05:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-13T17:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/befreegogreen.com\/?post_type=mec-events&#038;p=9748"},"modified":"2020-08-21T01:40:31","modified_gmt":"2020-08-20T23:40:31","slug":"green-kids-summer-camp","status":"publish","type":"mec-events","link":"https:\/\/befreegogreen.com\/en\/events\/green-kids-summer-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Kids &#8211; Summer Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>WHAT IT IS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During our Camps in partnership with <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/popcorn-english.com\/why-popcorn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Popcorn English<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, we guide our little guests to become more aware of the impact of our actions on the environment that surround us.<\/p>\n<p>We inspire and guide the kids to connect with a multilingual and multicultural territory, to live in a more sustainable way and to be encouraged to represent a model of change.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>AIMS <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raise children awareness on the respect for each other and for the environment<\/li>\n<li>Deepen the knowledge of the nature cycles<\/li>\n<li>Develop your own artistic qualities, the communication and the team work<\/li>\n<li>Increase confidence in yourself and in your skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A TYPICAL DAY AT THE CAMP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fun, energy and learning are the basis of every day at the Camp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From 8.30 \u2013 Welcome<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Sport and physical outdoor activities *Introduction of the theme of the day *Gardening\/ trip<\/p>\n<p><strong>12.00    Lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Walk in the nature<br \/>\n*Tell me a story<\/p>\n<p><strong>15.00    Snack<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Artistic \u201cGreen\u201d lab<br \/>\n*Final creative thought<\/p>\n<p><strong>17.00    Bye bye!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bilingual Camp English\/ Italian (we speak also French and German!)<\/li>\n<li>Gardening, making little organic gardens, cooking classes with organic products<\/li>\n<li>Artistic Lab with the use of recycled materials<\/li>\n<li>Trip &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.schub.ch\/it\/sif\/progetto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">School at the farm<\/a>&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>Sport (exercising, hiking, running, swimming, playing volleyball and football\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Walks to discover the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myswitzerland.com\/it-ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Swiss territory<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Experiences in collaboration and sharing with Associations and Public bodies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>N.B. <\/strong>Our selected <strong>educators<\/strong> have a <strong>paediatric<\/strong> <strong>first aid certificate<\/strong>. Some of them attended a training course for the use of the defibrillator and are members of the <strong>First Responder<\/strong> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticinocuore.ch\/it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Fondazione Ticino Cuore<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHERE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The meeting point is an amazing renovated country house located in the green, at the edge of the wood and with a beautiful playground, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ch\/maps\/place\/Via+Cast%C3%A8l,+6926+Collina+d'Oro\/@45.9820561,8.9115121,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x47842d1b727bace9:0xe34b232b0ab2647a!8m2!3d45.9820561!4d8.9137008?hl=it&amp;authuser=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Via Cast\u00e8l 2 a Montagnola (Collina d&#8217;Oro)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting point for the older kids is at the <strong>Roccolo di<\/strong><strong> Agra<\/strong>, which is located in an amazing clearing in the Collina d\u2019Oro wood.<\/p>\n<p>The Green Camps take place in the Nature (indoor just in case of bad weather) and we have a maximum of 10 kids\/children divided into two groups of 5 per meeting point, with 1 educator per group (2 educators in total).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Places are limited!<\/strong> For more info and registrations <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/befreegogreen.com\/contatti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a><\/strong><\/em>!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE PARTECIPATION FEE INCLUDES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All the material used during the activities<\/li>\n<li>Water and \u201cGreen\u201d snacks **<\/li>\n<li>Public transport (for trips and walks)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>** The participation fee DOESN&#8217;T include the lunch.
