E-MTB Tour in the Malcantone Region and Lunch at the Farm

Our Green Guide, Johnny Gaggiari, was born in Lugano, but she spent the majority of her life in Santiago, Cile. She has always loved the 2 wheels and over the years she has practiced downhill, endure, motocross and e-MTB.

WHAT WE DO
Difficulty: Medium
Tour: Pambio-Cassina d’Agno-Aranno-Cademario-Arosio–Mugena-Pambio (about 30 Km)
The e-bikes will allow everybody (even who’s not an athlete) to reach amazing places and picks, having fun safely.
We will start with a “coffee and Gipfel” for everybody, we will take the E-MTB and after a short briefing, we move to Cassina d’Agno. There we’ll check our bikes and we’ll be ready to go!
We will reach Aranno, a beautiful medieval village, awarded in 1997 for the safeguard of its historical nucleous and Cademario, a place where nature, peace and quiet are the protagonists, the perfect destination for who wants to escape from the city. After, we will go through chestnut and birch forest, creeks and meadows to reach Arosio, the highest village of the Malcantone region, and Mugena.
The path offers an amazing view of the Alto Malcantone.
Now it’s the moment for a delicious lunch at the farm.
The Azienda Agricola Scoglio will guest us, Marco and Isa Scoglio will offer us some genuine local products, such as their “Büscion nature” and the “Formaggella” typical dishes of the Swiss Culinary Heritage.
The farm is certified and recognised by the Swiss “inter-cantonale” association alpinaVERA, it has a B&B service, a shop where you can buy the local products, a big farm with animals and a play ground for the kids.
We will be back around 4:30 pm.
WHAT TO CARRY
Comfortable sports clothing (we suggest to dress up in layers and to take spare clothing), your curiosity, an open heart, the love for nature and animals and a camera to take beautiful photos.
